Most of these photos are actually frame grabs from 4k video footage and then retouched and resized in post-production as photos. The quality of the telephoto zoom lenses used as well as the editing and colour correction can enhance the detail that you would normally only get with separate photography. It gives the client the added bonus of extra content.
